Media Advisory: Councilmember Cheh to Honor the District’s First Responders

Councilmember Cheh will be joined by Council colleagues in the presentation of a Ceremonial Resolution to Engine Co. 16 after tour of Ward 3 Fire Stations


WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Monday, September 11th, Councilmember Mary M. Cheh will recognize and thank the District’s Fire & Emergency Medical Service responders for the significant sacrifices they make for our community. In honor of the National Day of Service, Councilmember Cheh will tour all of the fire houses in Ward 3 to deliver gift baskets and visit with FEMS staff. At 2:00 pm she will be joined by fellow Councilmembers and Mayor Muriel Bowser at Engine Co. 16 to present a Ceremonial Resolution to Chief Gregory Dean and the D.C. Firefighters Association in appreciation of their service to the District.
