Constituent Services PDF Print E-mail

Constituent Services is a key component to my office. My staff understands the importance of quick and concise communication with residents to help request services, navigate agency processes, and provide help when you reach a snafu in navigating District government. We want to highlight a few key factors that will assist my office in helping you have a positive experience.  If you need assistance, please fill out the following form.  My office will be in touch soon thereafter.

  • Be sure to log your initial request for service with the Mayor’s city wide call center 311 (formerly 727-1000). By doing this, the service request receives a tracking number which my staff can then use to make an inquiry with the responsible agency when necessary. The intake caller can also provide you with very important information regarding resolution of the problem.
  • While I understand that receiving parking citations can be a bother, my office is not able to have tickets dismissed, but we can assist by providing information on the proper adjudication process and follow up with appropriate staff.
  • Visit all agency websites to get full information on how a process works. For example, tree services have various cut off dates for requests as well as a time frame for delivery. If you understand the guidelines, making a request for service should go smoothly. Other requests like traffic calming measures require community and Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) input.
  • Below, you will find a link to a fillable form which allows you to contact my office for assistance. The more information you provide, the better equipped by staff will be to help.

Please fill out the constituent services form here.
