Councilmember Cheh to Honor First Responders on 9/11
Will tour several fire stations in Ward 3 that assisted with Pentagon evacuation efforts
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, September 11, 2012, Councilmember Mary M. Cheh will recognize and thank those who make significant sacrifices for our community every day. In honor of the National Day of Service, Councilmember Cheh will deliver refreshments to several fire houses in Ward 3.

WHERE: 9 a.m. Engine 31 in Forest Hills, 4930 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. 9:30 a.m. Engine 20 in Tenleytown, 4300 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W. 10 a.m. Engine 29 in the Palisades, 5900 MacArthur Boulevard, N.W.
NOTE: The Cleveland Park Fire Station is currently undergoing renovations, and the staff is divided among local firehouses. Each stop is open to the media, and community members are encouraged to participate.
